On the occasion of the European Days of Jewish Culture 2021 to be held from the first Sunday of September 2021, around the common theme of Dialogue and under the umbrella this year of the European project NOA (Networks Overcoming Antisemitism), the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) will award a maximum of 70 grants of €500.00 each for the purpose of printing the exhibitions and materials developed by the National Library of Israel.

 

The process for obtaining and claiming the grant is divided into two phases: grant application and justification, and reimbursement procedure.

1. Grant application. Deadline: 1 August 2021. EXTENDED UNTIL 15 AUGUST 2021
Any natural or legal person organising a Dialogue activity during the European Days of Jewish Culture 2021 can apply for a printing grant through the online form hosted at https://bit.ly/PrintingGrant2021.

 

The eligibility criteria for the grant are as follows:

 

  • 1. To be located in a European Union member state.
  • 2. To be subscribed as a Coordinator of the European Days of Jewish Culture through the form that can be found at https://bit.ly/EDJC2021.

     

  • 3. Commit to include the logos of the NOA project, AEPJ, Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, National Library of Israel and the European flag on all printed materials. These logos can be downloaded from https://bit.ly/PGLogos.

  • 4. Commit to provide invoices and proof of payment for a minimum value of €500.00 in accordance with the criteria described below.
  • 5. To have accepted the present rules.Grant award. Deadline: 15 August 2021.
    Up to 70 grants of exactly €500.00 each will be awarded in strict order of application provided that the above conditions are met. If the 70 grants are exhausted, the number of grants awarded to each city will be limited, and institutions will be encouraged to cooperate and share the use of the exhibition.All applicants will receive an email notification informing them of the outcome of the award. Institutions that have been awarded the grant will also receive a unique identification number that will serve as a tracking number when requesting reimbursement.2.     Any natural or legal person organising a Dialogue activity during the European Days of Jewish Culture 2021 that has been awarded a printing grant may apply for reimbursement of €500.00 via the online form hosted at https://bit.ly/PrintingGrantReimbursment.
  • The conditions to be eligible for reimbursement are as follows:

     

  • 1. To have been awarded the printing grant through the process described above.
  • 2. Provide invoices and proof of payment for a minimum value of €500.00 from a European Union member state containing the reference ‘EDJC2021’. In the case of invoices provided in a currency other than the Euro, the conversion shall be made using the European Commission’s InforEuro tool as at the date of the invoice.
  • 3. Eligible costs to be justified can be any costs related to the printing and set-up of the exhibition, such as printing costs, set-up and installation costs, design and printing of materials, etc. Any other costs whether or not related to other activities beyond the exhibition itself such as speakers’ fees, staff costs or advertising expenses will not be eligible for justification.
  • 4. Provide images as evidence of use of the exhibition in which the correct use of the logos can be seen.
  • 5. To have submitted at least one Dialogue activity in the context of the EDJC2021 through the form that can be found at https://bit.ly/activitiesEDJC2021.
    SUBMIT AN ACTIVITY 
  • 6. Provide bank details of an account in a European Union country to which the reimbursement is to be made.Reimbursement. Deadline: 1 November 2021.
    If the applicant has complied with all the above conditions and procedures, the AEPJ will make a transfer to the bank account provided of the total amount of €500.00.
